About Safari Zone

Run by Pratik Hedau from Shivni, right beside Tadoba — with pickup and drop all the way from Nagpur. One person plans your trip end to end: permit, gypsy and cab. We run our own fleet — 3 safari gypsies and 3 transport cars — so you deal with a name, not a call centre.

Who we are

Safari Zone has been taking guests into Tadoba since 2021, run by Pratik Hedau. What started as driving visitors to the gate has grown into planning the whole trip — permit, safari and transport — under one roof.

We are based in Shivni, a village right next to the park, not a booking website in another city. That means we can meet your flight at Nagpur, drive you in ourselves, time every drive around the morning safari entry, and fix a problem the same day.

We run our own fleet — 3 safari gypsies and 3 transport cars — so your ride to the gate and into the jungle is ours, not subcontracted at the last minute. And because Pratik knows the drivers and guides at every gate, you get people who actually know the forest.

Government rates, no markup

Permit, gypsy and guide charges are set by the Maharashtra Forest Department. We book them at the official rate and never mark them up — you pay us only for transport and our service.

How the booking actually works

So there are no surprises, here is exactly what we do and don't do:

  • We assist with your safari permit on the official portal (mytadoba.mahaforest.gov.in). We do not sell or resell permits — the fee is the government's, paid in your name.
  • We arrange the gypsy, guide and gate entry at Forest Department rates.
  • We drive you from Nagpur city or airport and back, at our published per-km fare.
  • A safari is a wildlife experience, not a guaranteed tiger sighting. We're honest about that up front.
